Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut
This young athlete boasts substantial online presence
The young golfer will have numerous high-profile supporters as she makes her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns several international courses and frequently competes against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.
She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Just stay calm."
"My grandpa practically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.
"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions recently and maintains the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
Yet she can seek guidance from golf legend, who is dating her mother.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He told me to compete, enjoy myself, and go with the flow."
She'll challenge multiple most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, such as second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that her participation brings the sport to wider groups, especially reaching youth audiences.
The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and has started her own fashion and living label.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
